Ship of Adventure

"Mrs Mannering has something in her mind that she wants to tell us," said Philip. "Let's go ask her!" said Jack. "Yeah!" said Lucy-Ann and Dinah together.

Mrs Mannering told them they were going on a ship. "Oh, yeah! Ship of adventure!" shouted Jack excitedly.

The next day Mrs Mannering, Jack, Philip, Dinah, Lucy-Ann and Kiki travelled on a ship.

They went on[to] a [an] island. Philip saw someone throwing stones at something. "If it's alive I'll hit them with my fist!" thought Philip. He went closer and closer to the thing that the children are throwing at. He saw it and said, "It's a baby monkey!"

Lucy-Ann met a friend called Lucian, and said, "Today is my brother Philip's birthday. I'll buy a ship in a bottle in it since we are in a ship adventure."

Philip was washing the monkey's fur and called him Mickey. While he was washing Mickey Lucy-Ann Jumped out from nowhere and shouted "Happy birthday Philip!"

That night Mickey broke the present and he groaned. He groaned. He told the other children and they groaned too. That day they met a new friend called Mr Eppy.

Jack accidently[accidentally] found a map in the ship that Mickey broke. They cut it into four pieces and showed one to Mr Eppy. Mr Eppy got [held onto] it a long time and gave it back by a big gull.

"Mr Eppy should have a good printout for himself, " Jack groaned angrily. But that day Mrs Mannering had to take care [of] someone so he took Bill to go with them. The children were so glad to meet Bill.

The children showed the whole map to Bill. And he asked one of the map detectives on the island to make it [into] English.

Bill let them into his boat and led them to the treasure island called Thamis.

Inside the map they saw a picture like this {reverse UU} and later on they knew it was a shape of a rock. They went inside and it was blocked.

They they saw a word that mean maze called labyrinth. They went inside and Kiki didn't like it much. So he standed [stood] outside with Jack and saw Mr Eppy.

The three children and Bill looked at the treasure... 1 December 2008

Circus of Adventure

The children were tired out when they finished they're [their] holiday with Bill. Bill said after the holiday he would bring a prince!

They waited and waited, Jack, Lucy Ann, Dinah, Philip and Mrs Mannering saw a prince coming. He had curly hair, funny trousers, wearing a[an] awful hat and had a good manner.

Kiki teased him and he did not like it. So he stayed away from Kiki. He had a quite bad English and Dinah, Jack and Philip hated him.

Kiki teased him a lot and the prince lost his manners and ordered and comanded [commanded] the children to do things for him.

He had bad habits in the restaurant so he and Lucy Ann, Jack, Philip and Dinah were kicked out of the restaurant.

One time he said: "I want ice cream and pie!" "He could not eat them together," said Mrs Mannering. "That's what I ordered, you disgusting beast," the prince said.

The next day someone captured Philip, Lucy Ann, Dinah and the prince. But Jack heard Lucy Ann's cries. So he hurried them and went to a peculiar land.

There he met a friend called Pedro. He is a circus boy who is friendly, kind and never go mad. So Jack liked him.

One night when everyone else was asleep Jack creeped [crept] out of the room and searched for the castle that Philip, Dinah and Lucy Ann were captured prisoners.

At last he found it and found a ladder to the castle. He ran up and when he is about to put the ladder down the ladder broke.

He ran up and down the castle he felt quite sure he knows the way. When he thinked [thought] of that he felt confident. So he marched down the castle making loud thumps to let the solders [soldiers] think he is a soldier.

At last he found a way back to the circus where he slept. He woke up in the middle of crowd. Kiki was squawking, talking and screaming with the crowd, saying, "Yeah! Wow! Cool! Coofantasticelo[?]"

He went to ask Pedro about his friends. "I don't know," Pedro anered [answered]. "But I'll help you save them with my two friends... Tony... and... Bingo."

"Is Bingo a dog?" asked Jack. "No, he is a man that knows how to walk on wire ropes very well." "And when they two are together they can think of many ideas," said Pedro with a grin.

The four went into castle and saved Philip, Lucy Ann, Dinah and Philip's mouse Squeaky.

We need to dress the prince up like a girl, suggested Pedro's mom. Everyone agreed except of course the prince.

And the prince was dressed like a girl. After a few days some soldiers went to find the prince in the circus. The soldiers of course cannot find the prince because he is dressed like a girl.

At last the prince let them into a feast and Kiki did not tease the prince [any more]. 12 November 2008

Sea of Adventure

Mrs Mannering was upset ‘They should come at 1 hour earlier!’ cried Mrs Mannering to the police. ‘It’s your fault!’ said the police ‘You did not bring them with you.’ ‘My fault?’ said Mrs Mannering angrily. And bleated out angry words.

Once they went onto Puffin Island, they are tripped and troped on many puffins. Philip got two more puffins as his pet of. When he got to get the name of the puffins, Kiki bleated out two words, huffin…puffine! ‘Those tow words can be a name for my new pets!’ said Philip cheerfully.

As for the bad news they need to sleep on the Island forever! ‘We could sleep in that hole?’ shouted Jack. “Never!’ said Lucy-Ann disgustingly. Philips’ puffin kept saying arr…arr for the whole day. ‘Hush!’ everybody said.

At last Bill found them and took them to a safe place and they were happy. 29 October 2008

The Time Machine

A long time ago, a scientist (with a huge lump of black hair on the head; and a long, black beard; with a rectangled shape eye glasses) made a perfectly peculiar thing. His name is called [deleted] Timothy Mothcheat Duncard, and his short form is Tim.

He thought it was a roller coaster (with no railway of course). So he sat on the seat and pressed a red butten [button]. Then type some numbers (and those numbers are 1900). Tim didn't knew [know] it was the age of the dinosaurs. So he set [sat] excitedly on the seat patiently. But then something extraordinary happened.

Something went boom! And he shouted to himself (because he can't hear anything). "I must be dizzy!" Then he stopped because the so-called roller coaster stopped (it is NOT a roller roaster).

When he got out a hooting sound came "Ah, Ha!" said Tim. "I went to the Greek [Greece]!" And he danced excitedly and slipped down a crack (it's a footprint not a crack).

"Help me!" he cried. "Somebody save me!" Then he knew something unusual. He fell in the CRACK of a giant reptile. "I must have become small," Tim said.

Then he heard a roar (of a thing that he don't [doesn't] know)! "It should be a saber tooth attacking the Greek people."

Then he heard a rumbling of footsteps. "That must be the Greek people running away from the saber tooth!" Tim shouted out excitedly.

Then a strange face appeared and got Tim out of the hole and Tim cried like a baby without a mother. And he cried, "I want my... mom..."

The big lizard carried Tim away and Tim looked at the thing. "It's an Iguanadon!" He is now filled with wonders. But it was all a dream! October 2008

Ben Ten

Ben was walking alone in the forest. Suddenlly [Suddenly] a small asteroid as big as Ben's hands followed Ben. Ben ran away in panic. But the bang made Ben fly away.

When the bang was over Ben realized that the rock had non-sharp spines, and suddenly it opened. And out came a green, white and black unfamiliar watch. That landed on Ben's right hand wrist. That time he's called Ben Ten.

He pressed a butten [button] and became Heatblast. "Ah, I'm on fire I'm on fire!" Heatblast cried. He ran round the forest doing nothing but screaming. Then Grandpa Maz and Gwen was [were] running in the forest fire and finding Heatblast sitting on a log.

"We need to destroy this monster," Max said. "It seems to me it's an alien," Gwen said intrestedly [interestedly]. "No! I'm a good guy!" Heatblast cried. "Ben?" said Gwen surprisingly.

Just then something on Heatblast had a red light going. Beep the tone was getting lower and soon Heatblast became Ben.

Then two small robots attacked Ben. "I need a go to the hard way!" Ben became Upgrade. "Cool! What can this alien do?" said Upgrade. Then he controlled one of the robots. When the battle was finished, Ben used XLR-8 to bully the bullies, Fourarms for ice-cream, Stinkfly for aeroplanes, ripjaws for saving, upcraft for destroy and Ghost freak for Peaking.

Then he slept. But before he slept he said "We will play this game tomorrow." Filgex was watching him with his evil red eyes. 4 October 2008

The Island of Adventure

Characters: Philip and Dinah decided to be freinds [friends] with Jack and Lucy Ann. Joe is a very unpleasant man. Mrs Mannering is Philip and Dinah's aunt. Bob is a pleasant man. Kiki is a bird that is owned by Jack.

Philip, Dinah, Jack and Lucy Ann decided to go on a hiking adventure. They went to the beach and visited Bob. Bob drove to the market to buy torches, headlights and a camera film for Jack, the others had headlights and torches for discovering some caves near the shore.

They went back to their half ruined, half new house. And went down the beach, Dinah and Lucy Ann were too scared to go inside. Jack suddenly disappeared and Philip disappeared too later. They found that there's a secret trapdoor in the cave.

The boys decided to tell Bob. Bob didn't tell much about himself, he just sat down and listened.

The next day the boys told Dinah and Lucy Ann what they saw in the caves. "This looks like some kinda mystery!" said Dinah. "Oh, I love mysterys!" cried Lucy Ann.

The next day Bob let them go to the Isleof Gloom by themselves. Jack was lost and Philip, Dinah and Lucy Ann was upset. They went to tell bill that they had lost Jack in the Isle of Gloom.

They went to Isle of Gloom again to save Jack but two unpleasant men caught them. They set them into the most unpleasant cage.

They got a map and in a dark corner lay Jack. The men took them to the wrong cage.

They found in the map that there's a secret trapdoor out of this cage. They went out of the trapdoor and went back to Craggy-Tops.

At last the men are caught and Joe who helped the men is fired from Philip and Dinah's home.

Harriet's Hare

Harriet heard a noise coming from the wheat feild [field]. It sound like a UFO. When Harriet got out of bed and looked carefully at the UFO print. She saw a hare. Don't go, I won't hurt you, she said in her mind. Suddenly the hare turned and hopped towards her. In her amaze the hare said "Good morning earth girl I'm from Pars and I'm 36 years old.

Harriet warned the hare her father is coming. Suddenly Bran the sheep dog barked, meaning "Come on silly old cow walk to the yard." I become a sparrow, said Wiz the hare. Then he became a bluebird and fly [flew] away.

The next day Harriet went to pick carrots. Then she saw Wiz. Wiz stared at her. "I dont' mind you can eat it; I need to say to you Wiz my dad is coming." Slowly POP!!! A snail was on the carrot top. "Let's have a race when father's gone!" said Harriet quietly. "Ready." Like the wind and Harriet was racing like a horse. Suddenly POP!! Wiz became a hadhog and Harriet won.

Suddenly Wiz gone [went] away running fighting with a she rabbit. "Bye Wiz." said Harriet. Slowly she went to her car.

When Harriet was driving her car on the main street, a pretty old woman asked "I wonder if you could selll me a dozen eggs." "Of course!" said Harriet. "Oh, thank you!" said the old lady. When Harriet went back something happened. The old lady came she said "I'm Lambert, Jessika Lambert." Then Harriet's father came he said "I'm John Butler."

When Harriet went to the farm a cow that looks unfamiliar stared at her. "That's Wiz" thought Harriet.

At last Jessika decided to be Harriet's step mother. That night she saw a hare on the moon, she had to lose her hare. August 2008

The Strange Medicine

I was minding my own business in my laboratory making my [a] special medicine. First I thought it was special. Then when I drank it, it was strange. It was sour, I put sweet in it. But it was still sour. Then I was daydreaming - I was daydreaming that I'm a veliceraptor. When I finished [it] I became a veliceraptor. I had yellow stripes, razor sharp claws and teeth and a green slender body. I became the same colour and creature that I had daydreamed today. It was so strange.
I decided not to be a scientist. I decided to be a murderer catcher. 16 April 2008

A Journey to the Death of the Sea

My friend gave me a letter going to the sea. I was so excited I can't wait! I went to my friend Jonathan's house. He was fixing his submarine. I never saw a submarine like that before. "It looks like a robot crab more than a submarine,' I said. John made a grin. Then he gave me a notebook and a pen.
Later I asked, "What's going on?" John said, "Don't you know we're going to the sea?" But I still have one problem - I'm seasick. This sub has a toilet, living room, bedroom and a kitchen. My friend zoomed in the submarine. I slowly walked in. "Faster you snail!" John said.
When we went inside, the submarine zoomed to the road and in the sea. We went to the coral reef we saw clownfish, parrot fish, sea slugs, moray eels, octopus, sharks, catfish, seahorses and rays. I wrote it in my notebook.
As we went deeper, I knew something strange. The submarine didn't swim it crawled. Then we saw lots of salmon. The submarine's claws caught lots of them. I cooked some fish. I ate it. They were yummy.
As we went deeper we saw whales, squids and salmon as we went to the death [depth] I was excited. I saw squids, viper fish, angler fish, hatchet fish, vampire fish, starfish and gulper eels. I was scared. We went back home and told are [our] parents about the amazing trip. 14 April 2008

The Time Machine

I'm a young scientist. I made a time machine and used it to go to the past, millions [of] years ago when the first animals roamed the world. I don't even know where the first creatures live. As I used my time machine to find out, I felt excited. As fast as I could I scrambled out to the time machine. I pressed the keys and 1,000,000 my globe was turning so fast that I couldn't count how many rounds it had turned.
After a minute the globe had stopped turning. All the places, Asia, Europe, Africa and all the continents were stick [stuck] together. I felt strange that they were stuck. I looked around, I wasn't in my laboratory. I was in the sea. I saw many strange things. I just knew two strange animals: one is pleisiosaurus and the other is lixosaurus. I was scared to death. I pressed the keys again and 1,000,000. Now I found some early fishes and amphibians. They were so strange. 6 April 2008

The Time of the Roaming Robots with Ben Ten

I was with my friend Ben Tenison playing the computer. As we played, we didn't know Kylie was playing the printer. Not carefully Kylie made us to the inside of the computer game.
The game was the roaming robot of living creatures. First, we saw an army of gigantic germs, some oval shape some circle shape. They're spitting diseases to Ben Ten and me. Ben Ten used his watch to become fire ball. He shot several fire balls. Next he became four arms.
After punching 40 or 50 of those germs, it was the second test in the game. The test took place in the sea. We saw billions of sea creatures. We saw some Anomalocarises, Picajas, Hallucigenias, Wiwaxias and SacaBambaspises. Ben Ten became light bulb fish. He used his ferious sharp teeth sunken into many sea creatures.
The third test was with the plant eating dinosaurs. There were brachiosaurus, stegosaurus, sauposaurus, evelophalus, triceratop. They used their armour to attack us. Ben Ten used his Lion Mon to bite those dinosaurs after the test.
The fourth test was with meat-eating dinosaurs. I saw Tyranosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Spinosaurus, Linosaurus and Tinosaurus. Ben Ten became X-R5. He ran and the dust made the dinosaurs cough. Ben Ten knew these dinosaurs were dusk sick. As they were coughing, Ben Ten became grey matter and went inside the dinosaur's mouth. Then he pulled all the teeth of the dinosaurs. After that we got out of the computer and he thought the tests were easy. 29 March 2008

Book Review: Myth or Mystery

Story 1: Once upon a time a family near Mississippi River caught many fish. One spring the son went fishing. Just then a sea monster with a snake like neck popped out of the water [and] caught their son and swam down the sea [river]. The father cut down trees and put it in the river and put some fire. The river was boiling. The monster popped out of the water and the father killed it.

Story 2: It's boring

Story 3: I was reading a lot of books about flying creatures. One day my friends said they had saw [seen] the flying monster want to attack me. This [was] the last thing I knew. 13 March 2008

Dinosaur and the Strange Message - A Sequel to "To the Centre of the Earth"

I walked to the library and found a book about dinosaurs. I borrowed it. When I got home I flipped the pages to find something intresting [interesting]. When I flipped to page 22, I found a note. “It’s a code!” I cried

[Meant to be UPSIDE DOWN] Go to Africa’s Ile Island. At the Lion Mountain there’s a cave the top of the mountain. Go in the cave and you’ll see as much dinosaurs you like. I wrote it. Ernest

I looked at the note carefully. At 3 o’clock I had a break. I put the card upside down and I saw what the note means! I felt excited of a trip I love to meet dinosaurs either anyway!
After I eaten my tea I drove [took] a taxi, then drove my car, then took the ship to Africa. But I forgot to pack my things. I bought some food, a bag, some bandages and clothes. Then I sailed to Ile Island.
As I’m climbing up the mountain I saw a sand hurricane coming towards me. I ran as fast as I could. It took me 5 hours climbing up the mountain. As I reached the cave Ernest stood there. He came [went] with me into the cave.
Just then a trodden ran past by we lay down in the cave. We saw a teranodon, a quazelantus, a ramphasurus and a tenderandon. Then I walked I saw a brachiosaurus, a stegosaurus, a triceratops and a diphlopsaurus and many other dinosaurs.
But just then a carnotosaurus came and ate a triceratops. I’m angry and got my weapon and killed the carnotosaurus. Then a pack of velicerapters came and ate the dead of the carnotosaurus.
As I dived down and saw a plesiosaurus and a ripliosaurus fight for a sturgeon. I cut it half and the two ate happily away.
I told Ernest it was fun today. Next time I’ll come again. 25 March 2008

Book Summary: To the Centre of the Earth

My uncle shouted excitedly just as my cook finished cooking. I went to my uncle’s library. My uncle found a runic note. He ran upwards [upstairs] to find his runic dictionary. I hope my uncle’s stomach will cry out cause [because] mine’s crying very loudly.
As I wrote the runic words to today’s words, I wrote it like this:

They drove [took] a taxi, a bus and a train. They sailed a ship to Sneffels as they slide [slid] to the bottom of the well.
There are three carns. They wait to let the sun shine to the three carvan which one is the first to shine on they will go. They wait till sunset. They saw the middle one is the first…[find it too difficult to continue] 25 March 2008

Book Summary: The Pharaoh's Tomb

The professor carelessly drive [drove] his bicycle on the road. Cars blew there [their] car horns at the professor. He was working in an Egypt Museum. He spent his life talking about Egypt. As he rode, he thinked [thought] about how to write an Egypt story about [on] his way home.
He thought exitedly [excitedly]. He [had] forgotten about the birthday of his wife.
He decided to buy a black cat from Egypt statues. He bought it from a store had rode past.
Then he went home and read the scroll inside. He didn’t really know what it means.
The next day the professor and his friends were working at the scroll and understanding it. After that they still don’t understand the scroll. Then the professor had a class. He taught [talked] about the cat and asked them to look at it closely. A student shook the cat meanly and went away.
When the professor was on his way home a man stepped [out] and got the professor’s bag.
When he went home he looked very worried. He told his wife about it. His wife decided to go on a holiday to Egypt.
When they are [were] in Egypt they sailed a river. Not carefully professor had fallen down the waterfall. At the bottom of the waterfall is a cave. In the cave he found the Pharaoh’s tomb. Then the professor said, “I found it!!” 19 March 2008

Book Summary: A Secret in the Storm

Sam lay on the floor under the bed. He’s been looking for his shoe. He’d been looking for months. Sam is nearly nine. His mother said, “You’re like an end of a broom more than a boy.”
They were going to there [their] Grandpa’s home. The weather was fine to go on a holiday. Grandpa’s dead. When they were on the train, mother gave Sam a comic book. Sam had never went [gone] to Apple Tree Cottage for months. Grandpa always has [had] time to play with Sam but now he is dead.
When they were in Apple Tree Cottage the driver said, “There’s a meadow down the hill.”
Charlie was sitting on his gate when Sam was on his way to Grandpa’s house. Charlie was with two boys called Fletch and Garry. That night Sam knew they knew something about the stolen egg nest and the cottage.
The next morning Sam was glad that the doors had been fixed.
Six weeks later a terrible storm came. It had broke down the stairs. Under the stairs is the egg nest. They opened it and found gold. They didn’t need to sell the house any more! 18 March 2008

Book Summary: Slime

I think you’d not realy [really] like it when you’re in this world. OH! And one more thing, everything here is true. I swear it.
It started last fall when we finished class. Big Jim the biggest student in this school had made a very disgusting and smelly experiment. Cee and I are best friends. We sat next to each other.
After the experiment we went to the school bus. I sat in the front seat but Cee sat at the back. It is not Cee who didn’t notice. I’m invisible.
I look at the mirror at home. I can’t see myself. At least I know how to control to be invisible. Just then I heard someone knoking [knocking] the door. I opened the door and Brian was there. Brian went to washroom and I went into the living room. I saw my mother standing there. And she asked me to pick up Brian.
The next day when I was packing my bag next to Cee, we gave the homework to the teacher. Cee’s homework were usally [usually] tidy but this time it is all wet.
She went to the washroom and cried. I tried to calm her down. I asked why she cried. She said, “After I took a shower I used the towel to mop my body. But I got wetter.” I’d better show her I also had powers. Then she stopped crying.
We went to the science lab when Iona walked by. I asked her if she growed [grew]. She should be the shortest person in school. She blushed.
And as we packed our bags, Big Jim was there behind us. Then a flash he was gone. Then he came back with a trumpet. I asked [him] if he had mutant powers. He said yes!
The next day at school, we heard Michael lauphing [laughing]. He said he had X-ray vision and saw Mr Sypes batman underpants.
Ricky came out of the wall. I couldn’t believe what I saw. Then at the swimming pool I saw Po Po breathing underwater.
At home my mother asked me to pick up Brian again. The other day I saw my brother chasen by the slime. We the mutant kids use our power to stop the slime. At last we did it. 14 March 2008

Book Summary: Star Zoo

Nothing happens in Just Like Home [a planet]. My name is Humming Bird.

The next night was Remembering Night. In Remembering Night I met a man called Buff. His eyes [were] mean and he was bigger than me.

The next day father asked me a man called Buff [was going to marry me]. I hated to marry Buff. When I met Buff at the wedding place, I ran away to my spaceship. I asked my spaceship to go far far away from Just Like Home.

Then I saw a shadow. It was a zoo. I had crossed through many tunnels. After that I knew this zoo's name is Star Zoo.

At that time I also met a wolf. I don't know what it was. It had yellow razor shap [sharp] teeth. I fought it cause I was scared. It fought me too.

I closed my eyes. As soon as I opened my eyes I saw the wolf in front [of] me. I felt sorry to fight and hurt it.

There I saw other animals here [del] too. The animals asked me to ride on one of them. I choose [chose] the donkey then went to where their god was.

But I was puzzled [because] their god was a computer. I said "You are just a computer!". Just then I took the animals to the spaceship to go to Star Council.

I asked the animals to wait then I brang [brought] the robot animal to the Star Council. When the Star Council saw it they became stupid. They used a razor [laser?] gun to shoot the... robot!

Then I showed it to the children they become happy. Every people in Just Like Home will not be scared of animals. 2 March 2008

Book Summary: Peter Pan

There's a family that had a mother, father and lots of children. Their names are called [del] Wendy, John and Michael.

When they are asleep and their parents are gone. Peter Pan creepily flyed [flew] into their house trying to find his shadow. At last he caught his shadow but he woke Wendy. Wendy said I hate to grow up. Then Peter Pan asked Wendy to go to Neverland.

Peter Pan's voice made Wendy's brothers wake too. Michael and John are delighted to see Peter Pan. Wendy asked her brothers to go to Neverland. They are also exited [excited] by now.

Peter Pan spranged [sprang] out fairy dust everywhere so that Wendy and her brothers could fly. When they were in Neverland, they all went to the mermaid lagoon.

The mermaids made fun of Wendy. When the mermaids saw pirate hook's ship they quikly [quickly] went underwater. Peter Pan, Wendy and her brothers and the lost boys went away from the mermaid lagoon. Then they went back to their house.

Peter Pan went out on another mission. He and captain hook fought and the others [were] with the pirate. They fought feriously [fiercely/furiously]. At last Peter won. Tinker Bell made the ship fly to Wendy's house. And when their parents are home, they are happy. 1 March 2008

Book Summary: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Alice was with her sister. Then she saw a rabbit wearing a suit and a watch, a compass and a tie. Alice was surprised, so she followed the rabbit to the rabbit hole.

The hole was full off [of] clocks. Then she went to a small room. There's a bottle. She drank it and became smaller to go inside the door. But she was too small to get the key. She cried and cried.

Then the rabbit came and dropped the gloves and the skarf [scarf]. Alice then were [wore] it she became bigger and got the key. Then got smaller to open the small door.

Then she walked left to the Duchess. When Alice walked inside there are [were] mad women. And a cat with a grin played trick with Alice. She got away and was in the mid forest. The cat apeared [appeared].

Alice went out of the forest, then to the Hatter's house. They say no good things to Alice. Alice then went to a castle and helped painters to paint rose red. The queen came to see if the roses are red. Then the soldiers cut the painter's head.

Book Summary: The Phantom of the Opera

Strange things were happening in the Opera. People said they saw a ghost. A fireman went to the cellar and saw a head of fire coming towards him.

One evening La Sorreli was sitting in her room. She was going to perform a show. After that some ballet dancers came to Sorreli excitedly. They said they had seen the ghost. Just then the door opened a lady said Joseph Buquet is dead.

The gala performance continued. Christine Daae sang [in] Romeo and Juliet and Faust. Raul ran to Christine's dressing room. He was about to knock at the door when he heard a man’s voice saying you should love me.

Debienne and Plingy were retiring they asked other men to be the managers. Debienne gave them a card they read it. After they read, they think Plingy made this stupid letter. They asked the box keeper about these questions about the ghost.

Raul decided to follow Christine to her father's grave they played excitedly. But when he saw some skulls around him, he fainted. When he woke up, he was in the churchyard. Richard was sick of this ghost.

Just then a man said that a horse was stolen. At that time a singer, Carlotta, was reading a message. The message asked Carlotta not to sing but she was jealous of Christine. That night she forgot the message. There’s a curse went into her. As she sang she sound like a frog like this, ‘croack’. She became fatter and fatter she died that night.

After the disaster Christine disappeared once again. Raul asked the questions. The Persian knew it all. They went to the ghosts house, they were trapped in the house. They heard the ghost asked Christine questions, ‘if you let the scorpion out, I will kill you and your friends will be saved. And if you choose the grasshopper I will not kiss you and your friends will die.’ Christine choose the scorpion they are safe now. 8 March 2008

My name is Carmady. I’m a detective.

One morning, I was sitting on my chair waiting for a business to do. Later on, Kathy rushed in my room and asked me many questions of the Leander Pearls. I felt excited to have a business to do. Kathy gave me the door key and went away.

I went to Peeler’s house, I found him dead. Near to his pocket was some money, a key and a gun. I took the key and went home.

The next day, I met Lutin, we talked about the Leander Pearls. I didn’t like it [him]. After that, I went to Madder’s house. Madder gave me some whisky. He had put something nasty in my whisky. I got my sap and hit Maddler with it. A girl stepped out of the cupboard and hit me with my sap.

When I was awake, Madder and the girl were gone. I went back home I had a bad dream about I was in prison. Spyke was laughing at me so do John.

The next day I took a van and drove to Spyke’s house. Then I saw Spyke’s wife and I went upstairs. Spyke was there I took him to prison cause he got the pearls. Then we live happily ever after. 8 March 2008

Book Summary: Freckle Juice

Andrew wants freckles, he thinks it is cool. Nicky Lane has millions of them. If he [Andrew] had freckles like Nicky he will [would] not be late for school.

The next day [One day] he counted Nicky’s freckles. But when he counted to thirty, Miss Kelly asked Andrew to go to the reading group. The class giggled. As the bell rang, Andrew asked Nicky how to get freckles. He answered but Andrew doesn’t understand.

When the class was walking, Andrew was walking with Sharon. Andrew hated Sharon. Sharon said, "I have a Freckle Juice secret. You should give me 50 cents."

Andrew was home he got the 50 cents, gave it to Sharon and Sharon gave [him] the secret. He tried to do the secret. At last, he can do it with olive sauce and grape juice. He drank it and got to bed. He had a bad dream. He dreamed about a dragon that had freckles.

The next day he went to school, but had no freckles. He used some blue magic marker and draw [drew] some freckles. Then Sharon made a super duper frog face. After that the teacher gave him a freckle remover. He removed his freckles in the washroom. At last the class giggled.

Book Summary: The Black Arrow

On one spring afternoon, the Moat House Castle bell rang. Then people croweded [crowded] there, a passenger [messenger] suddenly appeared and read the letter. The letter said there would be a battle soon. The messenger is Richard Shelton.

After that Bennet Hatch came he told Richard to go to Appleyard’s house. When they arrived to Appleyard's house, there's a black arrow that killed Appleyard. On the arrow was a letter. It said "for Appleyard, from John, to make things right". What a strange message.

Then they went to church door they saw a letter they read it. It said: "I have four black arrows, the first killed Appleyard, the next one will kill Bennet Hatch, because he burnt Grimstones house. Another arrow is for Sir Oliver because he killed Sir Harry Shelton. Sir Daniel will get the fourth. From John of Greenwood and his men. P.S. Remember we still have arrows for you men!"

When Richard came in to see Sir Daniel, the boy John went away. When Richard finished talking, he went out to find the boy. Sir Daniel asked the guards to help Richard. When Richard found John, they two ran. Then some guards saw them running to the castle. They caught John but could not catch Richard.

The next day, Richard tried to save John. But the guards caught him and let him to a creepy room to sleep. Then John came here, she told her real name. Her real name is Joana. They saw a trapdoor they went in it. Then went away from the castle to have their marriage ready....[to be continued] 3 March 2008

Creative Writing: Huckleberry Finn

Hi! My name is Huckleberry Fin. I and my friend John Sawyer, Kim Hikes and Jim Berry are a band of thieves. We have a lot to steal and have plans too.

This is a secret, don't tell to anybody this secret. I'm now going to the Harbour City to steal. Our plan is we will wear our dirty old clothes then stand on a big high many people crowded stage. We will be saying that we are poor children no houses no good clothes and very weak. Then the people will [give us money]. We will be rich after the plan.

But when we [acted out] the plan, a detective caught us. We were fritened [frightened], then I said we should make a plan. We thunk [thought] and thought. Then we had a very good plan. We could put soem pig blood on the floor then make a trail of corn, so the people will [would] think somebody killed us and got the food.

Then we sailed a ship to Canada, there were two lovely and rich girls who lived there. Then we killed their cousins [and] pretended to be their cousins. Then we [would] go and steal their money. We made the plan. We go [went] away to Japan.

Then we stole a fossil from a dinosaur museum. Then we gave the fossil to another museum. Then they will [would] give us money. Then we [went] somewhere else called Greenland.

There is [was] so cold so we changed our clothes to winter clothes. Then we went to the library, book stores, Mei sum [Maxim's], restraunts [restaurants], hotels and streets to pickpocket everybody we think is rich.

Trouble seems always follows Huckleberry but he is smart and has other plans too. 22 February 2008

I always have a good think on walking home because in morning at home I am in a rush and mum is always bothering me to do this and that like feeding the dog, pack my bag, go to toilet, brush my teeth, wash my face and comb your [my] hair. I hate someone bothering me when I'm doing something. I hate to be in school too because the teacher is bothering me the same way.

In my walk home it is good to think of going to join the Harley Davison Gang. Everybody like it in my class. But one thing I don't like in the Harley Davison Gang is I need to eat ten gold fish, and dead chickens blood.

The next day I was joining the Harley Davison Gang they asked me to wait in a very lonely place and I wait when they ask me to come out. I come out and they say I should take a test. Then they said steal a pantha.

But when I put the statue pantha of Earl's down, it moved and attack the Harley Davison Gang's boys. Then they all ran away exept [except] me. I was so sleepy that I had slept [fallen asleep].

When I woke my face was covered with pantha saliva. Then Earl was in his yard finding his pantha. I had brung [brought] the pantha back to Earl. But this night the moon was not here. Then everything started dancing even things that cannot move [started to dance]. When they finish dancing they all are becoming statues again.

Then I asked Earl to tell me why would the statues move. He say he would sent [send] a post letter to me and a present the next day. I found the letter and the present. The present is a pyramit (pyramid) and a man with the moon. Then Earl poped [popped] out of my back. 15 February 2008

Book Summary: Oliver Twist

Oliver was a boy and an orphan. Her mother is dead (died) before (after) she gives birth. Before his mother died, his mother said she needed to send Oliver to a dish washing factory. The people in the dish washing factory are no good at Oliver and the others. They gave little food, little sleep and very much washing dish work. And one day Oliver is brave to ask for more food, Mr Bumble is angry. He sent him outside.

Now Oliver was happy he think he now was going on an adventure. He was heading to London. But when he is heading to London he met a stranger named Dodger. He asked Oliver to go to his home. In their home they teach him how to pickpocket. Then he and Dodger and Charlie had pickpocket a man called Mr Brownlow. Oliver did not do it, just Dodger and Charlie had done it. Oliver just stand there unbeleviblely (unbelieving what he saw). Then Mr Brownlow knew someone pickpocket him, he think it was... Oliver but he was wrong.

Then the people send him Oliver to the court house, the judge ask him many questions, like what is your name and other questions. At that time a woman had said it is not Oliver who pickpocket him. It is two naughty boys. Oliver struggled up and fell down.

When he woke up he was in a peacful (peaceful) room. He was in one of Mr Brownlow room. One day Mr Brownlow ask Oliver to sent a post. At the time he had walked Nancy had caught Oliver and gave Oliver to Bill.

Next day Bill asked Oliver to pickpocket a good man in a rich house. Oliver is quite bad in pickpocketing, he had broke (broken) a vase in the house. He didn't mean it, Oliver had fell (fallen) down to the ground.

When he woke he saw he's in a peaceful room like in the Brownlows. But it is not Mr Brownlow's room it's a family that he had broken the vase. The family was good to him. One day they asked him why would you steal and many other questions. He told (them) the whole story to the family. They said they will call the police. At last they live happily ever after. 10 February 2008

Diary: At the Zoo

This is the second day in the (Guangzhou) hotel. We went to a zoo, we had saw (seen) antelopes, deers, elephants, giraffes, rinos (rhinos), hippos, road runners, osthrichs (ostriches), buffaloes, zebras, ducks, white tigers, lions and monkeys. Then we had ate (eaten) french fries, hamburgers and vegetable. At last we had fed the giraffes and elephants. And the last thing we had done was seeing (watching) a white tiger show, it was awful (awesome), and had saw many more shows. Then we went back to the hotel. 3 February 2008

Diary: At the Circus

I, father, mother and sister went out to go to have a weekend holiday. We sail a ship to there, we went to a circus. Inside there was a fire windmill and inside the windmill where four men dangerously. A dog pretending to be a horse and a monky (monkey) pretending to be a human and everything they done (did) are facinating (fascinating), incredible and amazing! Book Summary: Snow Blind

The pilot drove the six seater plane with his sister Meg a sixteen years old girl and a camera man. Her father needed to make a program about the Artic, they had went (gone) to Artics Bolam Island.

When they had landed, they saw a very old man and a boy that is bigger than Meg, the boys name was Joe. The Meg and her father and the camera man went to far away from Bolam Island. And when they walked in the middle of the Artic, they saw footprints like elephants and heard sounds like this HWAOOO! and then HWAOOO! HWAOOOOO! then, HWAAAOOOOOO!

Then when they went back home and slept all day long but the middle of Meg’s dream, there are northen(northern) lights every where. Then Meg was awake, Meg was surprised then the next day came, Meg’s father and the camera man was out. Meg and Joe wanted to go up the hill to have fun. When they got out, they ate, drink and rest there then there was a guardian he let them to the proffessers (professor's) office.

Then the professor showed one of his experiments. It experiments means using this machine the dead animals will be alive. At last, they knew that it is because the professor make the machine to make the mammoths be alive. 18 January 2008
